A simple letter of encouragement can change someone’s hardest day.
Spread the L.O.V.E. (Letters Of Victory & Encouragement) exists to remind people that they are not alone in their journey toward healing and restoration. Many people working through struggles, difficult seasons, or recovery rarely hear encouragement at the moments they need it most. These letters are meant to speak hope, encouragement, and truth into those moments — celebrating progress and strengthening people during hard days.
Of course. If you want to send a handwritten letter they can be mailed to PO Box 28 Thomson, GA 30824.
Your letter will be given anonymously to someone walking through recovery or a difficult life season. You will not know the recipient’s identity, and they will not know yours unless you choose to include your name. This allows letters to be written freely and received without pressure or expectation.
You can include:
Write with compassion and encouragement, not correction or advice.
No. Most letters are written by people who have never met the recipient. Simply write as if you are encouraging someone you genuinely want to see succeed and continue moving forward.
Letters are typically used in two ways:
Milestone Letters — given when someone reaches an important milestone or moment of progress.
Hard Day Letters — saved for moments when someone needs encouragement during a difficult season.
Anyone. You do not need to be part of CrossTalk. If you want to encourage someone, you are welcome to participate.
Your letter will be added to a collection of encouragement letters and given to someone at the right time — either during a milestone celebration or when encouragement is needed most.
No. Letters of Victory & Encouragement are meant to offer hope, encouragement, and support — not professional, medical, or counseling advice. We ask writers to focus on encouragement and compassion rather than instructions or solutions. Individuals receiving letters are encouraged to continue seeking support from trusted mentors, pastors, counselors, or recovery groups as part of their ongoing journey.
